Department for Regional Cooperation and Development at the Ministry of Local Government Administration has organized a meeting with representatives from Peja municipality, Mr. Islam Husaj, Chairman of the Assembly and Mr. Durim Sheremeti, Head of the Cabinet of the mayor, to discuss the implementation of the Twinning Agreement of the Municipality of Peja with Johnston Municipality in Iowa.
The agreement between the two municipalities was implemented for the common good of both municipalities, where are included the possibilities of cooperation between the two local authorities in the field of education, business, health and artistic and cultural activities.
