The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Administration and Advisor to Prime Minister, Mr. Bajram Gecaj, accompanied by the Ambassador of Kosovo in Hungary, Ms. Luljeta Vuniqi and Deputy Ambassador Asdren Gashi has met for a working lunch in Budapest the Senior Advisor for Foreign Affairs of the Hungarian Prime Minister Dr. József Czukor.

The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Administration and Advisor to Prime Minister, Mr. Bajram Gecaj, accompanied by the Ambassador of Kosovo in Hungary, Ms. Luljeta Vuniqi and Deputy Ambassador Asdren Gashi has met for a working lunch in Budapest the Senior Advisor for Foreign Affairs of the Hungarian Prime Minister Dr. József Czukor.
The meeting, held in a very friendly and constructive atmosphere was focused on political developments in Kosovo, Hungary and beyond, with emphasis on strengthening friendly relations, cooperation and mutual assistance.
The cooperation in the field of local government, but also in the exchange of experiences in bilateral approach to minority communities has also been discussed. Mr. Czukor promised an increased support and cooperation. He also promised to make a personal visit, including a visit of a Hungarian government delegation in Kosovo.
The visit of Deputy Gecaj in Hungary has been made at the invitation of the Ambassador of Hungary in Kosovo, Mr. Laszlo Markuszu, namely the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss about current issues of foreign and security policy in the Balkans and beyond, the organisation of local governments in Hungary and the Hungarian approach towards minority communities.
