After the decision of the Government to initiate procedures of establishing Municipality of Hasi, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Administration Mr. Basri Musmurati and Secretary General, Mr. Besnik Osmani, had separate meetings with the Mayors of Prizren Municipality Mr. Ramadan Muja and Gjakova Municipality Mr. Pal Lekaj, as well as with the representatives of initiating council of Rogova and surrounding villages.
The purpose of this visit was to get informed about the decision of the Government that results on execution of legal obligation to consult with Mayors of Municipalities and representatives of the regions aiming to become new municipalities.
Representatives from the Ministry of Local Government Administration and their hosts agreed upon organizing meetings in a near future, concerning the obligations coming out the law of establishing new municipalities.
Determinination of contact points from certain Municipalities and representatives of Rogova and surrounding villages was also discussed in this meeting, concerning the establishment of full cooperation in executing further steps.
It was said in this meeting that the Ministry of Local Government Administration will keep staying open to everyone, so a proper cooperation may exist this way, and establishment of new Hasi Municipality will be finalized in the best way possible.
