Today, the Deputy Minister of MLG Mrs. Shkodra and the General Secretary of MLG Mrs. Ukimeraj participated in the Conference “The Future of Women, Peace, Security and Justice Agenda in Kosovo and Beyond” organized by the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network, this conference was organized on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security and the Launch of the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network, Kosovo Branch.
At the conference, the separate panels discussed about the advancement of the Women’s Agenda for Peace and Security, Women’s Perspectives on Peace Processes and Comprehensive Gender Peace Agreements, as well as the advancement and empowerment of Women and Gender Equality in general.
