Today, the Deputy Minister of MLG Mrs. Emini participated in the meeting organized by the Leadership for Growth Council on the role of women in governance, the perspective of local elections 2021, where she presented the activities of the MLG regarding the advancement of the role of women at the local level and in the MLG, with particular emphasis on gender equality in municipalities and the MLG’s efforts to ensure gender representation.
Additionally, Mrs. Emini expressed the readiness of the MLG in advancing local self-government, thus she informed the participants also about the Performance Management System, within which system is included gender equality as a separate area with 11 indicators.
