Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Local Government Administration, Mr.Slobodan Petrovic met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, Mr. Ditmir Bushati, who was accompanied with the new Albanian Ambassador in Kosovo, Mr. Qemajl Minxhozi.
Primarily Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic welcomed Minister Bushati and Ambasasdorit Minxhozi by wishing him success in his work as Ambassador.
Petrovic informed Minister Bushati about the work of MLGA.In the context of regional development and cross-border cooperation with Albania we think that was a positive move. The most important development in the cross-border context is the establishment of joint the managerial structures for coordinating of IPA cross-border cooperation between Kosovo and Albania as are: Operating structures, the joint monitoring committee, joint technical secretariat in Kosovo / Albania and coordinating office in Prizren / Kosovo, said Petrovic.
Petrovic also informed Minister Bushati the successful completion of the local elections in Kosovo.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania Bushati wished much success in work and congratulated Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic, for the encouragement that he has done including the Serbian community in the Kosovo institutional life.
