Deputy Prime Minister simultaneously Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrovic met today with the President of Albania, Mr. Bujar Nishani. 31 August 2012, Prishtina
At this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister said that he informed the President of Albania, Mr. Nishani about achievement of the process of decentralization and sought support from the President of Albania, on the process of dialogue between Prishtina and Belgrade, as one of the main challenges of country.
“Certainly one of the challenges that awaits us is the dialogue between Prishtina and Belgrade, so I make an appeal to President of Albania that within his capacity, to use his influence that this dialogue be in the interest of citizens, respectively the results of these negotiations be much better than up to now. I hope that our cooperation will continue even in future and will be at the highest level possible”, emphasized Deputy Prime Minister, Petrovic.
Meanwhile, the President of Albania, Mr. Nishani highly praised the personal contribute of Deputy Prime Minister, Petrovic and said:
“ At this meeting, I will use the chance, to express my assessment for the personal contribute of Mr. Petrovic as well as of his party, a contribution that goes in the interes of Kosova and its citizens, of Serbian community but even of every other citizen" -said Mr. Nishani.”- expressed, Mr. Nishani.
President of Albania, also praised highly the recent achievements in Kosova, emphasizing the latest case, the removal of supervised independence and said that the future of Kosova is an excellent future and that it belongs to all its citizens.
