Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic met with the British Ambassador to Kosova and British Ambassador to Belgrade

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration Mr. Slobodan Petrovic met with the British Ambassador to Kosova, Mr. Ian Cameron Cliff and British Ambassador to Belgrade, Mr. Michael Davenport.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration Mr. Slobodan Petrovic met with the British Ambassador to Kosova, Mr. Ian Cameron Cliff and British Ambassador to Belgrade, Mr. Michael Davenport.  

The political developments in Kosova, respectively the decentralization process and local government reform were discussed in the meeting.

The Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic has thanked the Ambassadors Ian Cameron Cliff and Michael Davenport for the support given by the Great Britain to Kosova for the development of local governance, particularly the decentralization process.

During this meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic has informed the Ambassadors about the priorities of MLGA and expressed his readiness to work closely with the municipalities for the purpose of the improvement of life for all citizens in Kosova.

Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic has informed the Ambassadors about the actions taken by the Government of Kosova regarding visa liberalization and process of European integration.

The aspect of safety and situation in the north of Mitrovica was also discussed between Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic and Ambassadors Ian Cameron Cliff and   Michael Davenport.

During the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic, the Ambassadors Ian Cameron Cliff and  Michael Davenport have expressed their readiness to support the institutions of Kosova towards construction of a multi-ethnic society included in the Euro Atlantic structures.
