As a part of agenda of the regular visits to municipalities, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government, Slobodan Petrovic visited the municipality of Mitrovica and Podujeva.
During the meeting with the Mayor of Mitrovica, Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic highlighted the continuing support for this municipality by the Ministry of Local Government, especially in projects that will improve the lives of the citizens of this municipality.
"We will cooperate in order to implement projects that will directly have effect on the lives of people who live here", said DPM Petrovic. On the other hand the Mayor of the Mitrovica, Avni Kastrati promised further cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Petrovic during his visit to Mitrovica has visited also the MLGA office in this municipality and met with the Municipal Preparation Team.
