Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Goran Rakić met today with Croatian Ambassador to Kosovo Danijela Barišić.
Minister Rakić informed the Ambassador about the plan and activities of the Ministry and emphasized that it would improve the cooperation with all municipalities in order to increase local autonomy, strengthen the capacity through active citizen participation and democratic representation, and improve working conditions in local governments.
“The help and support of all institutions, as well as the Croatian Embassy, is of great importance to all citizens, for their prosperity and quality of life,” Rakić said.
Ambassador Barišić briefed Deputy Prime Minister Rakić, on the Croatian Government’s efforts and priorities, in regards to the future European integration.
Additionally, in the meeting it is discussed about the current political situation, economic development, Corona virus and future cooperation.
