Ministry of Local Government Administration, with the support of the OSCE, on September 10, 2014 held a workshop with the representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, Kosovo Privatization Agency and Directors of Geodesy, Cadastre and Property on the Municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, where in that meeting it was discussed about inter-institutional cooperation and coordination, regarding the requests for returning of social property on the management and administration of the municipalities, expropriation and updating of cadastral books based on decisions that were made for expropriations, reallocation of land and difficulties that have municipalities with the documentation, unilateral change of owner in cadastral books from SOEs to other persons and municipalities, as well as other issues related to the management and administration of property. 11 September 2014

Participants agreed that for all matters that were raised, to organize a special working meeting in order to facilitate the implementation of legal responsibilities. This whole process will be coordinated by the Ministry of Local Government Administration in order to implement the recommendations from this workshop.
