The Ministry of Local Government Administration – MLGA in cooperation with the USAID’s project AKT has organised a meeting with municipal officials for European integration. The purpose of this meeting was to inform municipalities on the implementation of the National Programme for SAA at the local level (quality of reporting), inter-municipal cooperation and implementation of municipal projects from the IPA funds.

The Ministry of Local Government Administration – MLGA in cooperation with the USAID’s project AKT has organised a meeting with municipal officials for European integration. The purpose of this meeting was to inform municipalities on the implementation of the National Programme for SAA at the local level (quality of reporting), inter-municipal cooperation and implementation of municipal projects from the IPA funds.
The quality of reporting and how to improve the delivery of data and information from municipalities within periodic reporting periods were among the topics of discussion. The promotion of inter-municipal cooperation and international municipal cooperation are considered among the main priorities that municipalities should have on their agenda. The participants had also the opportunity to learn about the projects that municipalities have benefited as well the cost of their implementation.
