The Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration, Agon Batusha, represented the Republic of Kosovo at the Parliamentary Forum on Intelligence and Security, which was held in Addis Ababa, at the invitation of the Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives of Ethiopia, Tagesse Chaffo, and the former US Senator, and Chairman of the Forum, Robert Pittenger.
Within the framework of the forum, Deputy Minister Batusha delivered a speech at the Parliament of Ethiopia and participated in the “Election Integrity and Democracy” panel, where he presented the experience of the Republic of Kosovo in building democratic institutions, guaranteeing electoral integrity and strengthening the rule of law.
During his stay in Addis Ababa, Deputy Minister Batusha held meetings with representatives of parliaments, governments, civil society organizations and investors from Europe, Africa, Asia, America and Australia. These meetings served to exchange experiences, expand cooperation and present the progress of the Republic of Kosovo in the international arena.
Participation in this forum constitutes an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation with international partners, promote democratic values and deepen dialogue on issues of security, democracy and the rule of law.
