Minister of Local Government Administration Ljubomir Maric has yesterday paid a visit to the municipality of Gjilan/Gnjilane, where he was received by the Mayor Lutfi Haziri.

Minister of Local Government Administration Ljubomir Maric has yesterday paid a visit to the municipality of Gjilan/Gnjilane, where he was received by the Mayor Lutfi Haziri.
The Mayor has thanked the Minister for the visit and has subsequently informed him about the work of the municipality. He has also pointed out the great cooperation that he had with MLGA in the development of certain projects.
Minister Maric has presented to the Mayor the 2016 MLGA’s plan. He has also presented the EU program for the support of socio-economic development as well as Municipal Energy Efficiency Plan.
Among other issues discussed at the meeting were the implementation of new projects, e.g. construction of sports hall in the village Shillove/Šilovo and solution of environmental problems in the city centre.
Maric has invited the Mayor to submit project proposals by the end of the year, whose implementation will begin next year.
This meeting was also attended by the Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic.
