Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Gjergj Dedaj who is on an official visit to Austria, was received in the Austrian Parliament.
Mr. Dedaj has notified Austrian officials about developments in Kosovo, the high level of unemployment, the need for investments of Austrian companies in Kosovo, visa liberalization, creation of opportunities for Kosovar students, to study in universities of Austria as well as deepening traditional cooperation between Austria and Kosovo.
Deputy Minister Dedaj re-emphasized the immediate need to start negotiations for membership of Kosovo and the Western Balkan countries in NATO and Euro-Atlantic institutions.
Austrian officials expressed their readiness to support the processes in Kosovo and stability in the whole region as well as in this part of Europe.
