The Ministry of Local Government Administration supported by DEMOS project, has held the first Inter-Ministerial Working Group meeting regarding the drafting of the National Program for Local Economic Development, which is a policy document of the MLGA.
This meeting aims to support municipalities in developing strategic policies that affect local economic development. This document will also guide municipalities in achieving their objectives.
In the meeting there were also discussed the challenges of municipalities in the field of Local Economic Development and the steps and timeline for drafting the National Program for Local Economic Development 2023-2029.
