Ministry of Local Government Administration in cooperation with the OSCE, Unit for Democratization on November 29, 2016 has organized a joint meeting with the directors of the Legal Departments of the line Ministries, regarding the implementation of Regulation (GRK) No. 01/2016, for administrative review of municipal acts.
The meeting was opened by Ms. Flutura Hoxha, Acting Head of the Legal Department and Monitoring of municipalities of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, as the chairperson of the meeting who welcomed the participants and informed them about procedures and the coordination that MLGA is doing with the line ministries for review of municipal acts. She also emphasized that they have had some difficulties in the beginning due to the change of the legal basis but now they have a better coordination of this process, as in cooperation with the OSCE, they have organized several such meetings, where they have explained the amendments that have made. Participants during the discussion have raised some concerns regarding the level of communication and processing for which were given concrete suggestions.
