Ministry of Local Government Administration-Department for Regional Development and Cooperation held a meeting today with representatives of the Municipalities of Republic of Kosovo, about drafting of the integrated plans for 2016-2018.
Director of the Department for Regional Development and Cooperation, Mr. Besim Kamberaj, and Director of the Legal Department, Mr. Agron Maxhuni presented to the representatives of municipalities, Mid Term Budget Strategy, which aims to organize and coordinate the work of municipal budget in a more efficient and effective way, and the rules set by the Medi Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF).
MLGA officials explained the structure of Municipal Integrated Plan, which is an overview of the direction that municipalities plan to achieve in the next three years and municipalities priorities which aim to improve the lives of all citizens. The priorities of Integrated Municipal Plan, these priorities should be incorporated into the 2016-2018 budget process in order to ensure an adequate level of financial resources in order to achieve a successful implementation of these priorities.
