The Ministry of Local Government Administration, with the support of the OSCE has organised a joint meeting with the Chairpersons of Municipal Assemblies of the Republic of Kosovo. In its opening speech, the Deputy Minister of MLGA, Mr.Gecaj has informed the Chairpersons of Municipal Assemblies that the purpose of this meeting is to present general recommendations drawn up based on the results of monitoring municipal activities with regards to the development and implementation of legislation, transparency, issuance of secondary legislation within legal deadlines specified by the primary legislation on local government and sectoral legislation, requests for the review of unlawful acts, municipal administration and service delivery. 2 dhjetor 2015

Among other issues discussed at the meeting were the review of the legality of municipal sub-legal and their harmonisation with the legal framework on local self-government. At the end of the meeting a number of conclusions were drawn up.
