On 31.03.2016, the Ministry of Local Government Administration with the support of the OSCE has held a joint meeting with the Chairpersons of Municipal Assemblies of the Republic of Kosovo, Directors of Legal Departments of the relevant ministries and Chairs of the Collegium of Municipal Officials.

On 31.03.2016, the Ministry of Local Government Administration with the support of the OSCE has held a joint meeting with the Chairpersons of Municipal Assemblies of the Republic of Kosovo, Directors of Legal Departments of the relevant ministries and Chairs of the Collegium of Municipal Officials. In his introductory speech, Mr. Maxhuni has stressed out that the purpose of this meeting is to present the Regulation No.01/2016 on administrative review of municipal acts.
This Regulation applies to all municipal acts, which are issued by the Municipal Assembly and the Mayor during the exercise of own and delegated powers.
Upon entry into force of this Regulation, all the existing sectoral committees within relevant ministries shall be ceased.
At the end of the meeting, it was concluded that the Ministry of Local Government Administration, namely the Department for Legal Affairs and Monitoring of Municipalities will continually support municipalities.
