The Minister of Local Government Administration, Adrijana Hodžić, hosted a meeting today at Ministry premises with NGO CoDe representatives, where they discussed the engagement of civil society and its cooperation with Kosovo institutions.
Minister Hodžić stressed that the Government has, in partnership with the civil society, established the necessary framework of sub-legal acts and strategic documents, which foster and strengthen cooperation between the country’s institutions and civil society, pointing out the Regulation MoF No. 04/2017 on Criteria, Standards and Procedures on Public Funding of NGOs and the Government Strategy for Cooperation with Civil Society 2019–2023.
Moreover, Minister Hodžić emphasized the fact that MLGA serves as a good institutional model of cooperation with civil society, with civil society being invited to participate as a partner in almost all public policy drafting and recruitment processes.
On the other side, CoDe representatives expressed their gratitude to Minister Hodžić for her hospitality and for holding the meeting. They emphasized their interest to cooperate with the MLGA, in particular during policy drafting processes wherein they could provide their professional contribution.
Finally, Minister Hodžić assured NGO CoDe representatives that the MLGA will maintain its cooperation with the civil society.
