During this meeting was discussed the practical implementation of the Law on Access to Public Documents and the Law on Personal Data Protection by public institutions.
Representatives of IPA mentioned the challenges of implementation in practice of these two laws, while mentioning certain cases from several municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.
On the other hand, Minister Krasniqi, mentioned the publication of the expenses of the cabinet on weekly basis – as an official document that all interested parties can access.
Additionally, Minister Krasniqi mentioned that for every public call, the Ministry sends a public invitation to all media to participate, thus he highlighted the willingness of MLGA to provide continuous cooperation in this regard.
