Minister of Local Government Administration Mr. Elbert Krasniqi, held a virtual meeting with the Minister of Regional Cooperation Mr. Esawi Frej.
In the focus of the discussion was the interstate cooperation in the field of economy, culture, education and other areas of common interest.
Minister Krasniqi during the meeting informed Minister Frej about the potential that Kosovo offers, especially at local level. Additionally, Minister Krasniqi invited Minister Frej on a visit to the Republic of Kosovo, to discuss about common projects and the possibility of establishing a cooperation between two countries.
On the other hand, Minister Frej emphasized his full support for any initiative and cooperation between the two countries, with special emphasis on the twinning of the municipalities of the two countries. Also, the Minister Mr. Frej, invited Minister Krasniqi, on an official visit to Israel in the coming weeks in order to discuss the reaching of an agreement which foresees the cooperation in areas of common interest.
