Prishtina, April 16
The Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, together with the Deputy Minister, Arton Konushevci, received the Ambassador of France to the Republic of Kosovo, Olivier Guérot.
Held in an open and cooperative spirit, the meeting created an opportunity for comprehensive discussions on the advancement of interinstitutional relations and the deepening of cooperation between the two countries.
Special attention was paid to the direct benefits for the municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo from this strategic partnership.
Main pillars of the discussion:
• Local Economic Development – Identification of potentials for investment and economic growth at the municipal level.
• Modernization of Services – Exchange of experiences for building a more efficient administration closer to citizens.
• Technical Support – Opportunities for professional assistance from French experts in the field of local governance.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that local economic development and improvement of the quality of services remain key priorities of the Ministry of Local Government Administration in building a modern and functional government. In conclusion, the parties agreed to continue close coordination with the aim of implementing joint projects that directly impact the improvement of the lives of citizens in all municipalities of the country.
