Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi participated in the launch of the ELOGE program – The European Label of Governance Excellence, organized for the first time in Kosovo by the European Association for Local Democracy, ALDA and MLGA.
Minister Krasniqi, in his speech emphasized the importance of democratic principles in the development of the local level, emphasizing that “Human rights, democracy and rule of law are three basic pillars through which we aim to help municipalities in democratic governance. Through this program, municipalities will be assisted in improving their performance in providing high quality services within an improved system of local self-government”.
Minister Krasniqi in the end highlighted that the cooperation with municipalities, donor partners and relevant stakeholders is a priority of the MLGA.
