Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, participated in the presentation of the report “Daily challenges for the promotion and implementation of rights and protection of citizens of non-majority communities in the Republic of Kosovo”, conducted by PIPS and HD, through which are presented the challenges that the non-majority communities face in Kosovo including the aspect of physical security, socio-economic, cultural opportunities, etc.
During his speech, Minister Krasniqi thanked PIPS and HD for preparing this report, emphasizing the need for cooperation between state institutions and civil society in order to improve the conditions of the non-majority communities in Kosovo.
Additionally, Minister Krasniqi mentioned that the priority of MLGA is the advancement and support of marginalized groups, thus emphasized a number of initiatives that are related to community-based capital projects, employment of young people from non-majority communities and improving their well-being.
