Prishtine, 14 January 2022
Minister of Local Government Administration Elbert Krasniqi, in order to coordinate and discuss with partner donors who co-finance the Municipal Performance Grant, a grant which aims to finance municipal projects and support municipalities in local economic development, hosted a meeting of donors of this grant.
In this meeting participated, Mrs. Celestine Krösschell, Project Director DEMOS, Ms. Katharina Stocker, Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Kosovo, Mrs. Mirnije Stublla, Program Manager, Swedish Embassy in Kosovo, Mrs. Mikaela Gronqvist, Team Leader, Public Administration Reform, Public Finance Management EU Office, Mrs. Saranda Cana – Senior Program Officer – SDC, Ms. Mimoza Janova, Norwegian Embassy in Kosovo and Mr. Ertan Monoglu, Project Manager DEMOS.
During this meeting was discussed about the process of completing the performance evaluation of the Municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.
Through the MLGA engagement there will be a 100% increase in municipal support from the co-financing donors for the Performance Grant.
