Cooperation at the local level, green agenda and support of marginalized groups through MLGA programs were the key topics which were discussed during the meeting between the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi and the Director of GIZ David Oberhuber.
At the beginning of this meeting, Minister Krasniqi thanked the Director of GIZ for the cooperation, emphasizing that the MLGA is in the phase of strengthening the current programs and creating new mechanisms to support the local level.
Also, the Minister Krasniqi informed the Director Oberhuber on the initiative of the Office of the Prime Minister for the green agenda, underlining that most of the Municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo have already become part of this initiative by signing the Charter for Green and Sustainable Municipalities.
On the other hand, the Director Oberhuber, thanked the Minister Krasniqi for the meeting, while informing him about the continuity of GIZ programs at the local level and offering cooperation in areas which focus on local government.
