Minister of Local Government Administration, Mr. Elbert Krasniqi, held a virtual meeting with the representative of the European Association for Local Government – ALDA, Mrs. Antonella Valmordbida, a Secretary General of ALDA, where he was officially informed about the accreditation of ALDA by the Council of Europe, for the implementation of the ELoGE program in Kosovo in 2022. It was also explained that through ELoGE municipalities will have the opportunity to understand and implement the 12 Principles of Good Democratic Governance.
Additionally, the interlocutors discussed in detail the need for capacity building at the local level as well as assistance to Kosovo municipalities in facilitating their access to European Union funds.
