Following the visits to the Municipalities, today the Minister of MLGA, Mr. Elbert Krasniqi visited the Municipality of Ferizaj where he was welcomed by the Mayor, Mr. Agim Aliu.
Mayor Aliu welcomed and also congratulated the minister for taking over the post as Minister of MLGA.
Minister Krasniqi said that the purpose of these visits is to get acquainted with the problems that municipalities are facing and especially with the problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic at the local level. Additionally, he said that they are in the process of preparing a study on the impact of the pandemic at the local level, which in in addition to identifying problems it would enable to address them in the development of emergency plans for economic recovery and organizing a conference of donors and investors, for the implementation of these plans.
Minister Krasniqi emphasized that the MLGA is open for cooperation and ready to support the municipality of Ferizaj and all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.
