Minister of Local Government Administration, Mr. Ljubomir Maric met with Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mr. Kondeo Augustin, at this meeting was present also Minister for Return and Communities, Mr. Dalibor Jevtic.
It was talked about the relations between the central level and local level authorities sustainable returning, safety, advancing agriculture production. Minister of MLGA, during his statement he, empathizedthe support that is provided by the ministry toward the local level, though, increasing capacities of the services, also through capital projects in order to find solutions for infrastructure problems. Minister Maric spoke about the census of 2011 at the Municipality of Partesh and Ranilluk, where the number of inhabits is not in accordance with the reality in the field, which directly impacts in the municipality budget, also at decreasing the number of capital projects , also at the subsidies of the goods and services.
Minister Maric, talked also about the municipalities in the north, whereas the same the budget is decrease for next year, the same does not represent the reality in the field, in which case it damages the functionality of these municipalities. In aligned with these problems, Minister Maric, highlighted the urgent problem of unemployment, which can be resolved by bringing foreign investment, and appealed to the international communities for assistance. Minister Maric focused at the establishment of the AKS as the only solution in order to overpass these problems.
Minister Jevtic, highlighted the safety problems, which are faced by the Serbian community that have return, he mentioned the example from the Klina/Istog Municipality, where Serbian community that has return, are often exposed to the attacks.
European Parliament Rapporteur for Kosovo, Mr. AugustinConde thanked his interlocutors of the meeting and announced a more intensive cooperation.
