Accompanied by several young men and women from the Egyptian community, professionals from various medical fields, Minister Elbert Krasniqi met with the Minister of Health, Mr. Arben Vitia.
During the meeting, an open discussion was held on the main challenges affecting the communities, with particular emphasis on underrepresentation in health institutions.
In this context, Ministers Krasniqi and Vitia agreed that, in reference to the Government’s decision on the employment of underrepresented groups, in the job vacancies for the recruitment of health staff, in accordance with the legislation in force, the reference to the Government’s decision on the employment of underrepresented groups should be included.
Also, concerns were raised for employees of the technical sector in health, a sector that has been privatized for years, where workers continue to face difficult working conditions.
The need for state institutions to consider the creation of public enterprises to provide these services was discussed, with the aim of ensuring stability and dignity at work.
