As a member of the Board of Directors to support the Ombudsperson Institution in Kosovo, Minister of Local Government Administration, Ms. Adrijana Hodžić has participated in a meeting organized by the Ombudsman Hilmi Jashari, on the occasion of the implementation of the project “Support to the Ombudsman Institution in Kosovo”, funded by the EU.
At the meeting was presented the initial report, which includes the planned activities and results during the projection cycle for the period 2019-2022.
“Advancing cooperation and establishing direct contact between the Ombudsperson Institution and public institutions is of utmost importance. Protection and advancement of human rights and freedoms, should be a priority for all of us. It is necessary for all to give maximum support so that all recommendations coming from the Ombudsperson’s Institution are taken seriously by all those institutions that in some way do not meet the needs of the citizens.
On behalf of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, I use the opportunity to greet all participants and donors and I wish you all luck in the coming period because that is what we will need “- said Minister Hodžić.
