In the course of the introductory meetings after her appointment as Minister of Local Government Administration, Emilija Redžepi, hosted today the USAID Mission Director for Kosovo Lisa Magno.
During the meeting between Minister Redžepi and the USAID Director Magno it was confirmed that there was a strong cooperation between the Ministry of Local Government Administration and USAID during all these years, and will continue also in the future.
Redžepi also used the opportunity to require support from USAID for the stabilization program about the non-majority communities, which is prepared by the ministry. The program includes the youth employment, qualified persons engaged in public institutions, for their better affirmation, and thus, the prohibition of the migration of professional staff.
Redžepi thanked the USAID Mission for the support and continuous assistance at central and also at local level.
The ministry will be committed to solve all the problems and the needs of 38 local government institutions in Kosovo, and emphasized that the cooperation with USAID is essential.
The USIAD Director after wishing her successes in this position, emphasized once more the cooperation and the assistance that will be given to the ministry in solving and overcoming different problems, all in the interest of improving the standard of living.
