Within the framework of continual support given to the municipalities of the Republic of Kosova, the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA) has organized the Working Roundtable “Inter-municipal cooperation and coordination of activities for the functioning of the North Mitrovica Administrative Office/NMAO.
This Working Roundtable was attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Mitrovica Mr. Avni Kastrati, Principal Administrative Official Mrs. Adriana Hodic as well representatives of KFOR, EULEX, OSCE, NGOs etc.
The coordination of activities for the further capacity building of NMAO and increasing the level of safety for the staff and citizens of Mitrovica were the topics of discussion in this Roundtable.
It was also discussed in details about the possibilities of qualitative cooperation between the organisational structures of the city of Mitrovica and its strategic partners.
The General Secretary Mr. Besnik Osmani has made a general presentation on the legal framework, mandate, functions and fields of activities of the NMAO.
