Two Memorandums of Inter-municipal cooperation were signed today. Three party Memorandums, municipalities that have applied for a joint project on one side and MLGA on the other.
The legal mandate of the Ministry of Local Government Administration is to support inter-municipal cooperation. Ministry of Local Government Administration in this case as a precedent for allocating funds that will reward municipalities for projects.
We believe that in this way, besides improving cooperation between institutions, such projects provide results when it comes to approaching citizens.
“All projects that bring together Municipalities and citizens, are extremely important. The Inter-Community Cooperation Fund aims to strengthen partnerships between local authorities in implementing joint projects that impact sustainable local and socio-economic development that are in common interest of two or more municipalities. The Ministry of Local Government Administration will continue to provide assistance and support to all municipalities in Kosovo in order to create better living conditions, “- has said Minister of MLGA, Mrs. Hodzic, after signing.
The Inter-Municipal Cooperation Fund is part of the budget of the Ministry of Local Government Administration from the category of budget for capital investments.
