With OSCE, support MLGA organized counting of Municipalities Acts of Republic of Kosovo. The meeting objective was good governance in the municipality level, promoting transparency on the municipality institutions, increasing the effectiveness on providing services for citizens and empowering the role of citizens on decision making.
In this occasion Deputy Minister of MLGA, Mr. Basri Musmurati, greeted the participants, and encouraged them to be vigilant on maintaining and publishing municipality acts.
“We suggest that on the websites of each municipality, municipality acts should be published; access on the official documents, this means an opportunity should be provided to all citizens so that they can have access in the official documents. Deputy Minister of MLGA, Mr. Basri Musmurati, said all municipality acts should be on the official language; signed by the Chairperson of the Municipality Assembly, and they should all be filed (protocol)”
Where as for the momentarily situation in the Municipality websites, and about the projects for publishing regulations and municipalities statue, talked Mr. Agron Maxhuni Director of the Legal Department of MLGA and Mr. Xhevat Tafa/MLGA.
This project will proceed in four stages; organizing workshops with municipality officials, collecting municipality acts, analyzing municipality acts by the relevant department from MLGA, also publishing everything on the MLGA website.
Also all regulations will be publishing on paper, collected in accordance to the years or the field that they cover; it was said in the meeting.
In this meeting were invited Directors of Municipality Administration Directories, Chairpersons of Collegiums of Municipality Assembly, and Chairperson of the Legal officials in Municipalities and MLGS officials.
