MLGA Minister Mrs. Emilija Redžepi hosted in a meeting the Mayors of Municipalities who were supported by the MLGA fund, “Municipal program for development of socio-economic infrastructure and inter-municipal cooperation” based on the criteria set out in the call for applications, as well as the level of fulfillment of the percentage of these criteria.
Hence, Minister Redžepi has signed agreements with the beneficiary municipalities: Prizren, Fushe Kosova, Gjilan, Peja, Istog, Vitia, Mamusha and South Mitrovica.
The purpose of the Agreements is the implementation of the capital projects of municipalities, taking into account the legal responsibilities and obligations that municipalities have in providing the most efficient services to citizens.
The project details and the financing value are as follows:
1)Municipality of Prizren with 4 projects financed by MLGA in amount of 210,000.00€ and co-financed by the municipality in amount of 50,000.00 €. The projects are: Construction of the Bosnian Cultural Center in Prizren; Kindergarten in the municipality of Prizren for the education in 3 languages; Road rehabilitation for the REA Community; as well as Regulation of Public Lighting in Puosko;
2)Municipality of Fushe Kosove with 1 project financed by MLGA in amount of 40,000.00€ and co-financed by the municipality in amount of 10,000.00 €. The project title is “Expansion of the underpass at the Bridge in Vragoli”;
3)Municipality of Gjilan with 1 project financed by MLGA in amount of 50,000.00€ and co-financed by the municipality in amount of 111,643.00 €. The project title is “Road rehabilitation in the village Pograzhe”;
4)Municipality of Peja with 1 project financed by MLGA in amount of 40,000.00€ and co-financed by the municipality in amount of 34,000.00 €. The project title is “Infrastructure”;
5)Municipality of Istog with 1 project financed by MLGA in amount of 50,000.00€ and co-financed by the municipality in amount of 25,000.00 €. The project title is “Asphalting of the road in Llukavc të Begut”;
6)Municipality of Viti with 1 project financed by MLGA in amount of 40,000.00€ and co-financed by the municipality in amount of 35,386.00 €. The project title is “Renovation of the kindergarten and construction of two sports fields”;
7)Municipality of Mamusha with 1 project financed by MLGA in amount of 100,000.00€ and co-financed by the municipality in amount of 10,000.00 €. The project title is “Paving the local road with cobblestone”;
8)Municipality of South Mitrovica with 1 project financed by MLGA in amount of 100,000.00€ and co-financed by the municipality in amount of 195,000.00 €. The project title is “Building a kindergarten for the residents in Shipol – South Mitrovica”.
