MLGA supports infrastructure projects worth over 1 million euros

Prishtina, June 24, 2026

Today, at the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, the reallocation of financial resources as part of the Municipal Program for the Development of Socio-Economic Infrastructure and Inter-Municipal Cooperation was approved, enabling the financing of four capital projects with a total value of over 1 million euros.

This decision represents the continuation of the commitment of the Ministry of Local Government Administration to support municipalities in the implementation of projects that directly impact the improvement of citizens’ living conditions and sustainable local development.

The projects to be financed are:

Reconstruction of the bridge in Sitinica – Municipality of South Mitrovica (€400,000);

Regulation of sewage and asphalting on the streets “Enver Gashi” and “Sami Frashëri”, as well as in the surrounding villages – Municipality of Shtime (€300,000);

Revitalization of public areas and mountain recreation infrastructure – Municipality of Peja (€300,000);

Construction of a sports education hall at the “Musli Dumoshi” school in Dumosh – Municipality of Podujevo (€80,000).

Through this program, MLGA continues to promote balanced local development, strengthening inter-municipal cooperation and investments that create better opportunities for communities in all municipalities of the country.
