Representatives of MLGA participated in the Ceremony of Awarding the Prize for the best practice in implementing the Law on the Use of Languages. The ceremony was organized by the Office of the Language Commissioner (OLC) in cooperation with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), hence MLGA was awarded the first prize for the best practice in implementing the Law on the Use of Languages.
This prize is dedicated especially to the hard working Ministry team, who are committed to carry out their constitutional and legal duties.
MLGA has integrated also the linguistic diversity on the local self-government strategic developments, therefor this prize today encourages us to work even harder to promote linguistic diversity values also at local level, and also to try further more to cultivate the linguistic values of our society, which are at the same time universal democratic values.
