Secretary General of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Mr. Besnik Osmani, on May 23,2014 hosted the representatives of Kijeva and villages around, Mr. Abraham Gashi and Mr. Zef Prenaj.
The Secretary General has confirmed that MLGA has received a request from representatives of Kijeva regarding the establishment of the municipality of Kijeva and in this context, and that have positively responded to their request for realization of this meeting in order to see details of the project presented. Representatives of Kijeva and other villages have presented the history of existence of Kijeva as a municipality and also have explained the basic needs that Kijeva has for establishment of the municipality of Kijeva. Secretary General stressed that MLGA will provide assistance for implementation of the consultation process and will perform the necessary steps, foreseen by the relevant legislation in force.
