Today, the mayor of municipality of Prishtina, Mr. Shpend Ahmeti has visited the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA) and met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrovic and with Secretary General, Mr. Besnik Osmani. 09 July 2014
Today, the mayor of municipality of Prishtina, Mr. Shpend Ahmeti has visited the Ministry of Local Government Administration (MLGA) and met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Government Administration, Slobodan Petrovic and with Secretary General, Mr. Besnik Osmani.
On this occassion was signed the agreement for the construction of the football stadium in Ajvali, that will be financed by MLGA, while the procedure for implementation of the project will be realized by Municipality of Prishtina.
Besides signing of the agreement, Mr.Ahmeti and Mr. Petrovic have discussed about the cooperation between the Ministry and the Municipality of Prishtina, the ways how the Ministry can help the municipality and the challenges that the municipality is facing.
Mr. Petrovic has expressed its pleasure for cooperation by saying that " All municipalities, including even the municipality of Prishtina are still facing budgetary problems, with which are financed not only capital projects but they also enable everyday functioning of cities.
We as a Ministry are ready to support the municipality of Prishtina on the basis of our opportunities in order to improve functioning of the city that will facilitate and improve the daily lives of citizens, such as the construction of the football field in Ajvali.”
