Today is organized by the Ministry of Local Government Administration ceremony of signing International Inter – Municipal Cooperation Agreements between municipalities of Fushë Kosova and Lipjan with the municipalities of Civita and Frascineto, Italy organized by the Ministry of Local Government Administration.
On the occasion of the signing of the International Inter – Municipal Cooperation Agreements between the municipalities of Kosovo, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Ms. Rozafa Ukimeraj said that the importance of this cooperation between the two municipalities in Italy and the municipalities of Kosovo goes beyond a common cooperation, it is characterized by an additional element that connects both countries in preserving the values of Arbëresh language, culture and tradition; that for us in Kosovo these values reserve a very valuable place, because these values cultivates every day since we guarantee them with the fundamental acts of our new state.
Meanwhile, the mayors from Civita, Mr.Alessandro Tooci and Frascineto, Mr. Angelo Catapano and the Mayors of Kosovo, Mr. Imri Ahmeti and Mr. Burim Berisha expressed mutual gratitude and thanks for the initiative of MLGA and pledged that the inter-national municipal cooperation agreements signed today will be extended to other co-operation fields.
