Distinguished media representatives,
We would like to inform you that in the framework of the 73rd meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, held on 30.04.2022, part of the agenda were also three items from the Ministry of Local Government Administration, which were reviewed and approved, as follows:
- The abrogation of the decisions of the previous government, from the year 2018 for establishing legality, thus withdrawing from the process of transfer into municipal ownership of properties from the Privatization Agency of Kosovo, for the municipalities: Gjilan, Ferizaj, Suhareka Skenderaj, Decan, Junik and Han i Elezit.
- Informing the Government Cabinet regarding the final Report of the comprehensive study on the System of Local Self-Government (MLGA); and
- Informing the Government Cabinet regarding the Legality Assessment Report of the Acts of the Municipal Assemblies for the period January – December, 2021 (MLGA).
After the government meeting at the joint press conference, Minister Elbert Krasniqi together with the Minister Hekuran Murati answered the questions addressed by the media representatives regarding the items on the government agenda.
