Minister Emilija Redžepi together with the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, have visited the municipalities: Kamenice and Gjilan, hence they were hosted by the Mayors of these Municipalities and the emergency units, where they have discussed about coordinating the activities between the Government and the municipalities, with the aim of preventing the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
The Prime Minister and the Minister of MLGA have ensured the Mayors of the Municipalities that there will be a continuous support from the Government for the municipalities also during this emergency situation, but also after this pandemic situation is over. The Prime Minister and the Minister of MLGA have expressed their readiness to continue addressing the requests of the Mayors, regarding the fulfillment of their obligations within the areas of municipal competencies in the process of managing the situation; but also financial support and equipment supply during the emergency situation.
The Prime Minister and the Minister of MLGA have both required from the Mayors to instruct the citizens to stay at home and to respect the decisions of the Government and the recommendations of NIPH.
