Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Goran Rakić in today’s meeting with the Head of the EU Office/EU Special Representative in Kosovo Tomáš Szunyog, emphasized the readiness of the Ministry for close cooperation with the EU Office, in order to create more favorable living conditions for all citizens in all municipalities in Kosovo.
Additionally, it was discussed about future plans and projects as part of the economic development and recovery fund.
The interlocutors praised the holding of local elections in North Mitrovica and Podujeva, despite the fact that the election process took place during the pandemic.
Rakić and Szunyog discussed also about the current political situation as well as the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic.
