Division for Municipality transparency, with financial support by the OSCE, held regional meeting on 10.06.2014 in Prizren, which aimed strengthening transparency and good administrative practice on access to public documents. During the meeting it was discussed for the transparency at the local level, the implementation of the law on access to public documents, including; public meeting, municipal assembly meetings and Action Plan for Transparency in Municipality.
At the workshop held to region of Prizren participated representatives of municipalities: Suharekė, Malishevė, Dragash, Rahovec, Mamushë and Prizren. Present at the meeting were 16 participants, including directors of administration, legal officers, and information officers / s and heads cabinet of the mayors, and representatives from OSCE and MALG.
The meeting was chaired by Avni Sahiti, Head of Department for Transparency and Performance at the MALG, while introducing "Transparency at the local level and the right of access to public documents" did Nazmije Krasniqi Head of the Division for Municipal Transparency at the MALG, and the overview of the OSCE activities in the municipality of transparency – Krenar Loshi and Besim Myrtezan "Publication of municipal acts and action plan for transparency."
At this meeting, participants had the opportunity to provide comments, additions and suggestions.
