Ministry of Local Government Administration as a lead institution of the Operating Structure from the Republic of Kosovo; and European Integration Office within the Office of the Prime Minister/Government of Montenegro and Ministry of Finance of Montenegro (as contacting authority) within IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro – Kosovo, organized the “Solemn Ceremony for the announcement of the selected projects to be funded within the first call” as part of the Programme financed by European Union.
There are in total seven projects financed by Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) of the European Union and the general budget is 8.4 million €, from which 1.9 million €, will be allocated for the selected projects through the first call and will be implemented for the joint cross-border area.
The general objective of the programme is to improve the standard and the quality of life of people in the programme area though economic, social and sustainable environment development and inclusion of the region with regards to common cultural and natural inheritance.
