In meeting which was initiated by the Ministry of Local Government Administration, chaired by Minister Adrijana Hodžić, was discussed about the issue of water supply for the region of Mitrovica with a special emphasis on the north.
In the meeting today participated the Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka, Deputy Minister of Finance Fatmir Gashi, the Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office on Water Policies Baton Begolli, General Director of KEDS Alper Erbas, Director of Legal Office in KEDS Arber Krasniqi, Executive Director for KEDS network Alpin Dogan and the Director of the Mitrovica Regional Water Supply Sami Miftari.
As a result of the discussions, all participants agreed to create mechanisms to facilitate the function of the water supply in Mitrovica.
All the parties agreed to provide their contribution in order to ensure that all citizens have access to water supply without any restrictions.
