The Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, together with the Secretary General, Jeton Qela, held a meeting with representatives of the Swiss Embassy, Shkelqim Daci, and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Development (SECO), Dukagjin Bakija, who are carrying out an assessment mission to initiate a project in the field of sustainable mobility in Kosovo.
During the meeting, the current state of urban mobility in Kosovo municipalities, the challenges faced by local authorities, as well as the opportunities for developing policies and investments that promote sustainable transport and improve the quality of life of citizens, were discussed.
On this occasion, the Minister expressed his willingness to cooperate closely with SECO and other partners in the implementation of this project at the local level, emphasizing the importance of inter-institutional coordination and support for municipalities in advancing sustainable solutions for urban mobility. The Ministry of Local Government Administration remains committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of municipalities and the improvement of services for citizens.
